Back Cross Olive Egger Hatching Eggs
This listing is for a half dozen (6) Back Cross 2 Olive Egger hatching eggs. Hatching eggs are only straight run, sex cannot be determined prior to hatch for any type of hatching eggs. Chicks will be straight run at hatch, male or female cannot be determined. Both sexes will have black copper feathers with single combs, feathered legs and possible crests. Could lay eggs that are various shades of sage, olive, moss, brown, rust, etc. Speckling and heavy blooms are also possible. Egg color is not guaranteed.
Minimum to ship is one dozen (12). Maximum is three dozen (36) per shipment, can mix and match any varieties available. The eggs pictured are not the exact eggs that will be sent, but represent what our breeding birds generally produce. This listing includes cross bred varieties and the egg colors shown are of expected offspring color. Egg colors received with your hatching egg order can be different than expected offspring egg colors and can be crossed with roosters who have desired egg color genetics to achieve more vibrant offspring egg colors.
Hatching eggs are a significant risk, especially when shipped. Eggs with heavy pigment layers or heavy blooms are even more of a risk because they are more difficult to hatch than other varieties of hatching eggs to begin with. This is due to their heavy pigment or bloom layer making it difficult for moisture to escape the shell during incubation. While we do our best to send only the highest quality eggs and do fertility testing, we cannot control what happens to the eggs during shipping or incubation. We do everything we can to pack your hatching eggs to give them the best chance at arriving intact. With this in mind, there are no refunds or replacements on hatching eggs regardless of hatch rate achieved. By placing an order, you agree to this policy.
*This variety is not recognized by the American Poultry Association and cannot be shown in 4-H breeding pens.
